Muscle Memory - Mind Memory - Brain Memory - Heart Memory

Many players claim that their muscles remember what to do. I heard this statement from Usain Bolt, the champion sprinter.

While great players develop muscle memory, great knowledge workers have to develop mind memory. Developing mind memory involves reading and listening, contemplating and meditating.
Contemplating is evaluating the subject internally for its truth and practical utility. Meditating is focusing on it to realize the benefit of the subject in reality. Meditation creates the vision or more simply the plan of action. Meditation involves single minded  focus on the issue by preventing other ideas and thoughts for some point in time. Meditation is gradual withdrawal of sense organs' perception in the brain and concentrate it on the issue you want to meditate on. One effect of such meditation will be the memory that you develop in unconscious. Even you do not think of it for years, when needed unconscious provides you the required information.

What is needed to develop the mind memory.

A Tibetan proverb is appropriate in this context.

"It takes six times of thorough study and practice, for dharma to travel from skin to the bone marrow."

How many times do students and teachers read their texts?

Vijaya Dashami - 2016 - Festival of Success - Festival of Breaking Barriers - Narayana Rao

Vijaya Dashami festival is a festival of success. It is a festival of great success. There is a tradition for the top people in the society to review publicly their successes in the last year and then come out with programmes for the coming year. The festival is associate with the tradition of "Seemollanghan". This can be interpreted in number of ways. While kings may interpret as extending their area of rule, farmers may interpret it as acquiring new land. The industrialists and businessmen can see it as expansion of their business. It is breaking barriers in any field by every individual.

What is special about myself in the last year (2015-16)?

In July 2016, I came out with a list of principles of industrial engineering. The principles are based on Taylor's principles of scientific management. Even though the subject, industrial engineering is 100 years old, a set of principles were not declared so far.

I also had a distinction in the year in the field of publication, The lecture that I gave in Thane on the topic - Deendayal's Ekatma Manav Darshan versus Capitalism were appreciated and it was published in the book "Rashtra Drashta - Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya."  The book has articles and interviews with Shri Mohanji Bhagawat, Shri Bhayyaji Joshi, Shri Devendra Phadanvis, Chief Minister of Maharshtra and other leaders and thinkers. In the lecture, I advocated that M.P.s of constituencies have to prepare investment plans for their constituencies and send them to Central Government some time before budgets are made. This is equivalent to budget memoraundum by the M.P.s. Various suggestions made by M.P.s to promote investment in their constituency can be evaluated and incorporated by the Finance Minister in the budget. This will help in developing decentralization of planning.

The third that I have to specially mention is the partial fasting that I did in this year's Navratri. I would like to continue it for two more months in an effort to lose weight.

Blogger Making $1000 per Month on 165 visitors per Day

The blogger claimed that he made $1000 a month from affiliate income. He wrote:

I was able to increase my overall website traffic by 55%, particularly search engine traffic.

In the last 12 months the blog has managed to attract a cool 61,073 sessions (previous year 23,676), and 96,179 page views (previous year 41,267).

On average Magnet4Blogging has been getting 165 visits per day.

Gross Total Affiliate Marketing Income – $6,497.88

Blog Services

Website Design & Branding – $6,699.79

Gross Total Blog Income For 2016 (October to October – financial year) – $13,197.17

In July I earned $1,114.91 from affiliate marketing, which was truly awesome.

I also reached 1,000 email subscribers to this blog last month as well.

From my experience with blogging, it is a big  affiliate marketing  income. Bloggers have to know the ways of making money from affiliate marketing also apart from adsense. Adsense gives very little income as the income of magnet4blogging shows.

National Gold Medal Award for Use of Knol to Support Courses at NITIE, Mumbai, India

Dr. Narayana Rao K.V.S.S. , Professor, NITIE, Mumbai, India, who was using blogs to create study materials and also using them disseminate student created learning materials appreciated the power and potential of Knol platform early and created number of course knols and encouraged the learners to post their assignments on knol.

What are the unique features of Knol?

1. Wiki technology.

Wiki technology makes collaboration possible and also makes it easy. Groups of authors can come together and write articles or prepare lists.

2. Author identification

Very essential for identification of course plans and course materials by individual faculty members. Also when students post their assignments, author identity is very essential. Author identity on a popular  wiki platform is a unique feature of Knol. Google's ownership makes it a popular platform. Authors join it without hesitation once they appreciate its utility.

3. Scope for diverse articles on the same topic.

Different faculty members from different institutions have to post their materials and course plans. Hence the platform must have the willingness to support many different knols/articles/essays on the platform. Another distinct feature of the knol that makes it ideal for use by faculty members.

4. Comments

Facilitates interaction among learners, subject faculty, other faculty of the same institute, other faculty of different institutes, alumni, and practitioners. Provides evaluation of learning of any institute by a global  community

5. Knol Collection Facility

Provides an ability to assemble Globally best study material support for any course.

5 Years of Blogging - 5 Million Hits - Page Views

26 June 2016

Happy to note today that I got more than 5 million hits to my blogs started after 2011 (After the closure of Knol). I would like to 10 million hits to my credit. may be another 5 years are required to reach that milestone. I am keeping my blogging on and doing it more effectively. I can cut down on quantity now and focus more on rich content and active social media participation regarding my blog posts. I can help fellow bloggers and communities better by concentrating more on interaction and less on blog writing.

Kinship and Tribes in Social Media Communities - Develop Them

The title is to tell you that relationships exist in social media communities. Bloggers have to establish relations. It comes when somebody likes your posts and gets into conversation with you or you like somebody's posts and develop the conversation. Either way interaction and conversation develops relationship. There are persons in social media who develop huge followings. They develop tribes a term popularised by Seth Godin. He even wrote a book on it.

So every blogger needs to try and build a tribe. Is it easy? No, You have to know by trial and error, methods and techniques wherein you are successful and not so successful. You will continue investing in methods that give success to you. But you have to be aware of all methods and try many of them as you have time at your disposal.

A tweet on 24 June 2016

https://twitter.com/JasonSquiresSM/status/746334890132672512

A relationship often begins with a simple retweet!

The relationships can begin with a comment, like and share.  Get into helping other bloggers and developing relationships and networks. They will help you when you write good and great posts.

I followed Jason's advice today. Went through my Twitter feed and made number of retweets. Benefit I got 10 new relationships. So it has some success probability. Try and enlarge your online contact network.

26 June 2016

Retweets and Hashtag shares have increased the twitter contacts by 25 in the last two days. The number now is 2,376.

Offer Your Comments to the Tweets of People You Follow.

April 18

This activity is essentially going through the tweets of persons you are following establishing a relation with them through conversation. Force yourself on a day to go through your twitter feed. Allocate time and spend that time in going through and giving comments. You are likely to get replies and give reply to them. Your kinship ties develop that way.

I shall try it for few days from today (20 March 2016) and let you know the response.

I tried it on 20 June 2016. Liked two tweets. Included the links given in the tweet  in my blog posts. Informed them. Let me see what is the response.

26 June 2016

The comments can offer them a relevant blog post of your in response to the topic they are tweeting about. Sometimes it can be answer to a question that they asked? At other times it is relevant to the topic they are highlighting. I sent many replies to tweets with my blog post links. I got many times good responses on Twitter platform for my comment type tweets.  Now I am actively trying use of hash tags. This gives a good opportunity to give comments on tweets located through hash tag based search. Giving comments on hash tag feeds is more easy because your are involved in the hash tag topic.

Toast to Your Blog Posts in Social Media Pages

23 April

Toast is showing respect or giving good wishes. While every blog post that you make may be posted in the Google+ page or FaceBook page or on Twitter, whenever you made a post that you think is special, very apt for the day or event, you are going to make special efforts. You need to let the reader know that you made a special post. You are going to write more about it. You are going to give more information. You are going to ask readers to respond, express a view, agree or diagree with you.

Make a short speech in honor of your good blog posts.   Raise a Toast.
